[Street Fighter 2 - Zangief re]

Za Rodina!

This is a great mix of Zangiev's theme! And funny you should mention that there's only 3 Zangief's themes on Newgrounds... I finished my own arrangement about five minutes ago. I'm not uploading it until tomorrow, and I honestly don't think it's as good as yours... it's in a differnt style though... *shrugs* Anyway, nice mix!

It's definitely better than what I've composed myself. (I usually do arrangements, not original compositions). Anyway, good job. I agree with you; a real guitar would sound better, but I too am stuck with no recording gear. I'm also not that good, but I've got friends who are.

Also, I recognized the Slayer plug-in the moment the music started. Yes, I use FL.

I must say, it is cool. I prefer the Slayer plug-in for these types of songs though. Then again, one of my friends has pointed out I like that plug-in too much... *shrugs* Anyway, it's still good, and I must say that I laughed at your concept.

I've never heard the original, but theis sounds good. Anyway, I'm not sure wether or not you already know this, or whether or not you did it for this piece, but do you know how to control the breathy noise on the flute? It's "X" on the Modulation area on the Plug-in window.

Simply put, I like it. It sounds sort of ominous at first. Has a sort of "sneak around" feel to it.

If you notice this verson has a better chime beat with the cymbals then it did with the triangle but I also replaced the opening bass with a synth string that has the effect I was looking for all along Thanks for the review

Good, but not great.

Wes, you already know I like your song, but I just think it could have ben a tad better. Plus, techno isn't my cup of tea. That said, it's still good. I think a few of the parts need a little more flushed out (some sounds obscure others a little too much, get my drift?) Again, it's still good. 6/10 (Just above average)
